Hi everyone. I'm a 26yro female, normal BMI, no other health issues, no bleeds, normal menses (normal flow and regular.)

Meds: 65mg Iron 1x per day for past 2 months, just upped to 3x day last week.

However, my recent labs came back with: WBC 4.5; RBC 3.99; HGB 7.7; HCT 24.5; MCV 61; MCH 19.2; MCHC 31.3; RDW 17.9; PLT 187; MPV 11. TIBC level is 10mcg/dl; IBC Saturation 2%; Ferritin <1 ng/ml. Normal B12 and Folate.

My physician wants to admit me, and I don't trust him; however I cannot get into see another physician until 3/1/08, and am worried.
