I am a 27 year old woman & was diagnosed with Platelet Inhibitor Adrenaline Disorder in November 2008 after suffering from spontaneous bleeds into my knees & ankles. I am currently being managed by a lovely haematologist on Tranexamic Acid daily, platelet transfusions during bleeds if necessary & pain relief to deal with the pain from both the bleeds & the arthritis that has started due to the blood eating away at my joints.
My question: has anyone ever heard of this dysfunction?
I can only find 1 article on google that was written in 1983 that only suggests it may exsist.
I'd be so truly grateful if someone could give me some information & would LOVE to get in touch with someone else that has Platelet Inhibitor Adrenaline Disorder.
