I'm just looking for some sort of input. I am 24 Female, six months ago I noticed my lymph nodes in my groin were swollen and my entire leg hurt. The pain seemed to wrap around my hip then shoot down the back of my leg. I immediatly went to the gyno to get it checked out. She examined me and said there was nothing wrong just a swollen lymph node and that my body was most likely just fighting off an infection. She said it would go away by itself in a week or two. Well needless to say it did not get better at all. It's gotten worse, the size has more than doubled since then, my ankle is swollen the back of my knee is swollen. My leg gets tingly and my lymph nodes are constanly hurting and THROBBING it's gotten unbearable. I just feel sickly and not myself. I just want to sleep and get dizzy. I never followed up with my doctor since I lost my insurance. Do you think it's worth a trip to the ER? The swelling is so bad you can clearly see it across the room no need to even feel them, you can see them throbbing. I just feel so much movement in that area too, and the pain is constant.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
