Is it possible to have lymphoma, but a normal white cell count?

I ask because I have many symptoms for 2 years all of which could be caused by lymphoma, and other disorders have been ruled out. I have been referred to a hematopathologist, I am just asking this question to know if this idea route is totally far-fetched or not.
