If there are any doctors on here I would be grateful if you could give me some advice.

Ok so noticed I had a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck.At the time there was no sign of the flu or anything.I had been having bone pain for the past year and that was still there.I dont keep well normally as when I get sick it takes me a long time to get over. So I didnt see any cause for it to be enlarged.

Anyway I got the cold in november and frequently got a sore throat in september and october.I have been to the doctor and had two lots of blood tests.first one i was told my white blood cells were very low so had a re count the next month and they had gone up a little bit.I have had 3 lots of anti biotics and none of them have worked.

I was told that I had a virus the second time i got my blodo tests back. But im wondering how they can be sure? I mean im worried its lymphoma. He exmined me and said i had pea size lumps but this one is definitely not pea sized its rather large, when i turn my neck it is.I think he was feeling the wrong bit.

What can this be? and surely if it were a virus it would not last 6 months.

Any advice would be grateful
