I am dealing with two opposite opinions from primary caredoctors.
One says I'm low on Iron and recommended to start ironsupplements for at least 2months for 325mg twice daily with food and vitamin C250mg twice daily (for absorption).
The other doctor says that I have no iron deficiency andthat I should not take such high doses of Iron.
IRON 37 - 145 mcg/dL 49
TOTAL IRON BINDING CAPACITY 250 - 450 mcg/dL 382
IRON SAT 20 - 50 % 13
I am feeling extremelytired . My vitamin D is low. They do agree on that and put me on 50,000 IU x week. I need to get my energy back so I can function. Now I'm stuck between 2 different opinions.
