i was recently diagnosed with anemia and they ran more tests both other tests came back saying i also have hemochromatosis.

now what i cant understand is how can i have both i have asked my doctor multpile times how i can have both and even he cant explain it, but he says that i defintely do have both all tests have come back saying i have both.

for those of you who dont know what hemochromatosis is, it is really high iron levels which over time if left untreated can be potentially fatal and anemia contradicts this meaning i have very low iron levels.

is someone please able to explain how this can be?
