My white blood cell count is 24.8. Here is my latest blood test result as of 4/9/10:

Absolute Neutrophil Count 14.8
Lymphocytes 18.0
Absolute Lymphocytes 4.4
Monocytes 4.0
Absolute Monocytes 0.9
Eosinophils 7.0
Absolute Eosinophils 1.7
Basophils 6.0
Absolute Basophils 1.40

The hematologist ran these tests on 1/19/10:

Westergren 6
Rheumatoid 16
Leuk Alk Ptase 14
WBC 18.7
Granulocytes 79.7
Lymphocytes 18.9

The hematologist has not suggested the bone marrow test for leukemia yet stating I just didn't fit the pattern regarding which white cells had increased, age, etc. So I am being watched.

Any ideas on what else could be causing a high WBC count? I have some swollen glands, allergies, mild itching, but nothing else. I feel pretty good. But this has been going on for about 4 months now.
