My platelet count is 835,000. It's been climbing steadily since July even though my Dr. has been giving me iron shots. My iron cound is still below the low end of the scale as well. The platelet count has climbed to the point that my potassium level is testing "high" now, too. Is it reasonable to assume that anemia is causing this or could it be something else?
