hello, i am 16 years old and i have thalasemia...i was treated with various blood transfusion and finally a bonemarrow transplant....after the transplant i was living a normal life....but what made me start to wonder was what my dad and my brother(donor) told me...it was a secret only my parents, donor, and the doctors know.....my parents told me i wont be able to have kids due to my sickness....i was shocked when they told me so i refuse to believe them...plz someone have any information on this?....hope its not true...
