it started about a month ago with severe pain in my side ok went to emergency room they did a blood test my wbc and rbc are low wbc extremely so had a uterine biopsy and am getting a bone marrow done this coming tuesday no real symptoms but fatigue had standard tests hiv hep all negative now i have red pinpoints on my upper arms have had wbc prob for a while but never had bone tap whats wrong with me possibly i am a 36 yr old woman

  • I feel sorry for you- I've heard bone marrow is really painful. I don't understand why they don't knock people out for it. I wouldn't do bone marrow if they asked me to do it. I'd be to chicken. You are brave. Keep us posted.

  • sounds like acute leukemia to me. I have ALL and I had those symptoms to begin with. When i had my BMB I didn't find it very painful. good luck :)

  • to the one who said they have acute leukemia if it is this is it deadly and can you tell me how they treat it.? to the other one thanks for the encouragement and i will keep you posted:)
