greetings. I found out I was had preeclampsia s/s at 33 weeks gestation with my second child. I had been swelling but not in a drastic way. I went to the doctor on a Monday morning for my normal appointment, I had actually had the best night of sleep in a long time. So when the doctor came in to tell me he was sending me to the hospital due to high blood pressure and increased protein in my urine I was SHOCKED! With two steriod shots, and being induced on Thursday the 21st of April I had a healthy baby boy. 33 weeks and 4 days. From Monday to Thursday I did get increasingly ill, so eventually I would have gotten worse, my appointment just landed on the perfect day to catch the sickness coming on. I am actually pregnant again 15 months later, and I'm feeling great. Believing I won't have to deal with that again. So basically its all good when they find it soon enough. Thank God for advanced medical technology. Good Luck!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
