hi,
Ive got a rare blood condition called gauchers disease. It affects your blood, bones, white blood cells red blood cells and platlets and your organs. Im 21years old now but when i was 12 i wasnt eating and all my blood count was low, i was bruising easily and was getin heavy nose bleeds. but i went through a lot of tests and the doctors diagnosed it as gauchers disease. I live in ireland im the only one diagnosed so far with this condition :(

I was just woundering if anybody knew about this or any body suffers from it.
I havent been talking 2 anyone with it before and just needed to ask some questions:) xx

Or go to Genzyme and you can find out about an infusable drug that can help. Good luck

  • hello, I was diagnosed 25 years ago with gaucher disease and i spent my life struggling with this disease because there was no treatment in my country... Last week i started the enzyme replacement therapy as it became available so i was hoping for some pointers or recommendations on the therapy and it's evolution and whether i should expect changes anytime soon. Keep in mind that for 25 years i was not treated for gaucher, the cells infiltrated every organ and bone i have... So how long do you think it will take for me to have a normal pain free life?? Looking forward for you thoughts :)
