I read alot of the posts and I have similar symptoms. I had a total thyroidectomy in 2009. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day cause they couldn't stabilize my calcium. My levels have never been back to normal. I take 3 750-tums, calcitrol, and vit d. It seems that I am in the er about every 2 months getting hooked up to the iv. My level was so bad one time that the er doctor stated that he had never seen anybodys level that low I think it was 5.2. My tongue was swelling up and they were afraid it wS going to block my airway. My kids don't understand that I can't do alot of things cuz I am either tired or the tingling is really bad and I can't feel anything I touch. I really wish this would go away I am only 34 and feel old. I wanted to know if anyone gets back pain along with the other symptoms.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
