I have had an elevated white blood cell count for at least 3 months now, with no signs of infection and recently was told I have macrocytosis as well. Are the two related? Are they symptoms of anything? I have been a little fatigued and I have lost almost 20 pounds in a month. I havent had much of an appetite and feel nauseous (sp?) but have only thrown up after eating a couple of times. The Dr. mentioned leukemia which really scares me. Does anyone know what all this might mean?
