Two years ago had a DVT in right leg. Put on LOvenox then warfarin. Monitored and had no issues of bleeding. Also have a repeat DVT and have a UVC filter placed in my right shoulder. Then this year was off warfarin for 5 days to have a sinus procedure. Dtr allowed staying off warfarin even though have factor 5 Leiden & previous surgery to remove gall stones and then gall bladder was then put on LOvenox while off warfarin for surgery. Went well was better in 6 weeks and back to work. This year after the sinus procedure I wound up with a DVT in both legs that traveled to create a large blood clot in my lungs. Almost fainted on three occasions. Now on LOvenox. Shouldn't the doctor had recommended I go on LOvenox while off warfarin prior to sinus procedure?
