i need to know the long term effects of scurvy the internet give me no info at all... please help me

  • To whom this may concern, the only thing I know is that Scurvy is caused by a decreased amount of ascorbic acid ( vitamin C). It can cause periungual hemorrage, gingival hemorrages, and corkscrew hairs, it can also lead to anemia. I am a nursing student, so I'm learning this myself. Try going to a medical bookstore and looking up scurvy. Scurvy isn't heard of much anymore, so you may not find much on it. Hope this helps any, Good Luck and God Bless!
