DD has 2 seperate bleeding disorders

My 3 yr old dd was recently diagnosed with a Factor VII deficiency and today she was diagnosed with von Willebrands disease (type 1). Her platelets don't function properly.

What exactly does all this mean? Is the platelet dysfunction part of one of the diseases, or is it a seperate issue? Her hematologist is new, and she is somewhat hard to talk to, plus we live 2 hrs away from the office.

What does this mean for her in the future? Will the bleeding get worse? I can find info on each bleeding disorder, but not anything on both of them combined.

Any ideas?
