My son is 11mths old. He was born swollen from the waiste down. It was diagnosed as lymphdemia, because he was in the frank breech position for some time, and treated with massage therapy. The swelling has since gone away all but in his feet. Most of the swelling is in his right foot, it looks like it is going to burst.

Recently we have noticed the veins in his legs are bulging out, especially when he walks. His feet also turn purple and are warm to touch, epecially when he is being carried and pressure is put on his pelvic region.

The doctors think it has something to do with his venous veins. He was sent to a Cardiologist who did an EKG and ultrasound of his heart, those results both came back normal. He had blood work to check the protein levels, that also was normal. He then had ultrasounds done of his belly and legs to see if maybe there was a narrowing of his veins or blockage, those results also came back normal.

At this point the doctors don't know what else to do. They don't even know what other test to run.

My son also has Hirschsprungs Disease, he had 6 inches of intestine removed at 3mths old. He had a full genetic reveiw and all of his chromosomes are normal.

Please help guide us into the right direction.
Thank you for your help.
