I think I have been misdiagnosed. Here's the issue: I have frequent urination especially at night. When this occurs, I experience cramping and the urgency to empty my bladder. Sometimes it is a lot but I have just used the bathroom 10-20 minutes ago, it may not be that much. It doesn't bother me during my waking hours as much unless I have drank a lot of fluids. Howeve, I am up all during the night using the bathroom and this interrupts my sleep and I am so cranky the next day. I went to my ob/gyn and was told my condition was normal and I was prescribed a medication. It went away for awhile and then came back. At that time, I didn't go back to my doctor and after a few weeks, I no longer experienced these symptoms. Now, it is back and this has been happening like this for about 2 years now. I go for awhile having these symptoms and then pfoof, it goes away. One time I was told by another physician at an immediate care cener that I had an enlarged uterus. I went back to my ob/gyn and had an abdominal ultrasound and the results were negative for an enlarged uterus and I am wondering why this was discovered by the other physician when he did a pelvic exam.
