  • My 13 yr old son just saw a doctor on Friday for low back pain. They did x-rays and the news was not what we hoped for. The doctor told us it is spondylosis or spondylothesis and we need a mri and ct scan to see how much damage there is. I immediatly came home and started researching it online. It sounds even worse on some of the sights that I've reviewed. Now, my son who absolutly loves to play football is wondering if he will ever be allowed to play it again. Of coarse I've tried telling him that his health is more important than football but, that is not what my star quarterback wants to hear. Has anyone out there been treated for this with success and returned to football safely?
