I have extreme cramp-like pains in my right leg that starts in my right cheek. It started months ago and was only felt when I would stand up after sitting for any period of time. It has gradually become worse and is now felt down the back of my right leg to my calf (sometimes felt at my ankle). I'm taking narcotic pain relievers, but when those wear off, it's unbearable. The chiropractor has determined it a disc that is compressing my sciatic nerve. However, I am reluctant to settle for that because I have other symptoms that could possibly be related. We decided to go through some chiropractic treatments to see if adjustments might relieve the pain, but it hasn't. I've had 4 adjustments, chiropractic ultrasound, and had tens therapy. Nothing is helping.
My other symptoms that may or may not be related are:
*Weight gain of 20 lbs over the last year(now taken off with weight loss meds)
*dull cramping in lower abdomen unrelated to menstruation
*Abdominal bloating(making me look pregnant) This was worse when I had the extra 20 lbs on, but is still somewhat noticeable.
*Back and facial acne breakouts (I'm 30 years old)
*Recently noticed that I was experiencing frequent urination....like every hour of the night......I'm not pregnant and I don't drink enough to go that much.
*Very irregular menstrual cycles
*Change in bowel habits......I seem to get pain and cramping more often when going....it makes me break a sweat.
If anyone has any ideas or is experiancing anything like this please let me know.
I'm scared to find out the results, but I guess I need to get an MRI and pelvic ultrasound.
