Hi i recentley had a mri scan to find out why i had ongoing muscle spasms in back glutious area and thighs. The results showed i have a bulging disc that dried out and leaking on nerves causing muscle spasms and sciatica and also that i was born with narrow nerve canals that are closing in on my nerves also causing my muscles to go into spasm, my doctor says the two arent conected and is refering me to a rhematologist who will eitther refer me for steroid shots or to a pain management clinic and has perscribed me 30ml a day of bacclofen and 400mg a day of tramadol to help ease the pain. I've been told that they wont be able to stop my nerve canal s pressing on my nerves but they can make the pain manageable. I've tried to goggle narrow nerve canals pressing onn nerves c ausing spasms but all that comes up is spinal stenosis and i was wandering if any of you guys had heard of this before and new of any treatment as my doctor hasnt got a lot to say on the matter and no one i know has ever heard of it. Thanks:)
