  • Isn't lipoma "skin deep" so-to-speak? I had a couple removed about 30 years ago and it was very simple and done with a local. Your problem sounds more spine-related than related to lumps of fat removed from just beneath the skin. I have several lipoma still but have done nothing about them. My doctor asked me, "what are we going to do - leave you with scars all over your body?" And he's right. Mine are not that noticeable or "invasive" - yours sound like more of a problem. I just found out my best friend has them too. I think they are more common than most think. It sounds like you have "classic" spinal-related problems.

YES THEY CAN BE VERY PAINFUL! Spinal Stenosis IS TERRRIBLE PAIN! TO the poster: I Understand completely! As far as disability goes, they WIll turn you down, BUT turn the letter around and check the box for a FORMAL HEARING. You will then see a judge who will decide and more likely than none he will side with you. Good Luck! And you may want a second Op about what those tumors are exactly hon..
