upon investigating the type of fx I was told I had a 4+ view back is not going to see the fx. I was to flex and extend for it to show up and you don't on a 4+ view. I did an MRI here is the results:

EXAMINATION: MRI Lumbar Spine without Contrast

HISTORY: LBP with b/l radiculopathy, LE weakness.

TECHNIQUE: Sagittal and axial T1 and T2-weighted sequences. Sagittal STIR.

Comparison: CT of the abdomen and pelvis of August 14, 2013

FINDINGS:

The L5-S1 level will be defined as axial T2 series 801 image 15.

The conus terminates at L1.

T12-L1 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing.

L1-L2 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing.

L2-L3 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing.

L3-L4 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing.

L4-L5 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing. A prominent left paracentral epidural plexus is present.
This represents an incidental finding.

L5-S1 demonstrates no posterior disc abnormality, central canal or neural
foraminal narrowing. There are prominent degenerative changes of the facets.

Impression

IMPRESSION:
1. There are degenerative changes of the lower lumbar spine. These changes
include prominent degenerative changes of the facet joints. There is question
of nondisplaced bilateral pars interarticularis fracture at L5. Would
recommend focused CT examination of the L4 through S1 level.

Then a CT was ordered and now I have no fracture. The pain in my back is chronic and I have to change positions constantly. I cant walk more then 15 mins or stand I cant bend to dress my lower half. I use a cane upon physical exam I jump with touch on the L5 and buttock and hip areas. Pain chronically worsening since my fall at work 11/8/14 which is how I also injured my right knee. sitting to long casues to much pressure and I have to recline in my chair I use heating pad daily to the point I have caused burns. my heating pad is covered with double towel to help protect me. I have valium muscle relaxers Norco ultram and naproxen I hate taking meds I try not to use medicine I do my home PT exercise and heat and ice.
