Help, my 4 year old is in pain!

Okay, so I have some pictures of my sons back....you can see that this lump is pretty big. It is painful for him to sit or lay down. He is four years old and I have no idea what this is. We have seen three doctors and all have told me in the past it is nothing to worry about. But I am worried as this time he has been uncomfortable for a LONG time. In the past it was off and on but it has been about two weeks straight now. Any ideas????
