I'm a 22 year old female that has had back pain for years. At times my entire back will become so weak I feel as though I'm going to fall over. I simply cannot hold my back up. I've been trying to do exercises to strengthen my core but after 5 crunches I'm in excruciating pain. My back pain is preventing me from getting in shape. I have extreme pain after working 8 hours in the hospital and standing and bending. I've had this pain since high school (and I am now a college grad). It got better when I lost 20 pounds (now 130lbs).
I have been to many doctors. I've tried physical therapy, pain meds, braces, cortisone shots, a personal trainer and chiropractor. I'm so young to be having this problems and I have no solutions. Why is my entire back so weak? Why am I in pain after exercising?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. :confused:
