I went into a new dr. to get a prescription refilled. I was told back in October by my last dr. that I was a little deficient in vitamin B12. I mentioned to the new dr. that I experience fatigue and weight gain, so he ran some blood work and had me do a sleep study.
The bloodwork came back that I had a postive ANA Screen, speckled pattern 1:80, so he is sending me to a rheumatologist. He said I have nothing to worry about since I have no symptoms, but "just to be sure."
Turns out that the sleep study showed I had Restless Leg Syndrone so he is sending me to a neurologist, "just to be sure."
I don't want to take a lot of time off work and face multiple co-payments. I fear my dr is overly referring me. Has anyone had a 1:80 pattern and it was just something as simple as you exercised the night before, or you have a little less cartilige in your knees so they rub? Or is this a sign of something bad to come and I need to seek a doc now before I start to see symptoms?
