This is a lot of info, but I don't know where else to go from here. Please help.

Hi everyone. My thoughts have turned optimistic since finding this forum. I am a 25 yr old male. In college I did some things sexually that I should not have done with the opposite sex (ie unprotected sex). For the past three years I have been having symptoms that I assumed were due to the HIV virus.

Being consumed with worry and compulsion, I have been tested 5 or 6 time for HIV and all have come back negative. I still have symptoms (from what I understand) that seem just like the virus. I have been told my numerous doctors that I don't have HIV, but I need to know what's going on with me. Here is a list

Swollen Lymph nodes all over (three years ago to current-they get pretty big, but don't hurt unless I keep messing with them) near my jaw, in front of ear, behind ear, left side of neck (2of them at different times), right groin, along shin, back of forearm, forearm, and underarm. They swell up for about a week or two then pretty much go away (I can still feel them after they swell down). Here recently the nodes have been more frequent.

Headaches in the top/back of my head and always in the same place. Migraine strength pills do the trick and get rid of it. I only get headaches when no lymph nodes are present.

Swollen/blocked saliva glands or ducts. I have had a total of 4 blocked glands. 2 near my top teeth and 2 in the back by my molars. These occurred about 2.5 years ago, 1 year ago, and just recently. Again no lymph nodes are present when these get blocked.

I have had a total of 3 strange sores on my bottom gum line. They are not canker sores, but are just small white sores. They don't really hurt until they are pushed on. Again no lymph nodes present when they sores pop up. These have shown up about 1.5 years ago, 1 year ago and just recently.

Night sweats. Some nights there is no sweating and some nights it's a lot.

Occasional sores that feel like pimples without puss, just red and hurt.

Maybe these next things are nothing but I have noticed, an occasional rash on my right wrist (barely noticeable-here and gone in about an hour or so), a couple of callus on fingers and hands that itch and blood is below them like a blood blister (they show up without any type of activity that would cause a callus), aches in my calves for no reason, tingling fingers (possibly my worrying and imagination), and constant sinus problems.

I think that just about sums it up. I know I have CMV and EBV, but I'm so afraid that there is something else that is being missed. I have an infections disease doctor appointment on the 23 of Oct to hopefully find some answers. Can anyone please offer help or suggestions? I should be happy and worry free especially considering this is the week my fiancé and I are getting married (she knows all of this). I need to be a long time supporter and provider for her and our future family, but I keep having negative thoughts that I'm doomed with no help sooner than later. I'm very scared, but like I said this forum has given me some optimism. Thanks to all in advance for any and all help.

  • The only similiar problems we have are I am constantly checked for HIV as well and negative with results. I just still sick, abnormal bloodwork, small blod clots or knots in my arms, flu-like symptoms on a daily basis, headaches that I have to take meds for & get up to 8 injections for in my head for & seizures (2) but they act like I've always had them & plan to continue to. But anyway... Lots of problems with yeast because I'm allergic to it & if you no anything about HIV they all are eaten up with yeast well... that's me have my life but with no HIV:p Its pretty controlled now with diet & pills.I no it sucks:cool: but keep truckin' maybe push for a FULL blood panel if you haven't already gotten that. I see a hemotlogolist  so I get bloodwork often. I will keep thinkin'Have a great day!:p
