Asthma is a chronic disease that includes broncho-constriction (tightening of the muscles around the airways) and inflammation (swelling) of the bronchial tubes. During normal breathing, air flows freely in and out of the lungs. But, during an asthma episode, the lining of the airways swell, muscles around the airways tighten and mucus clogs the tiny airways in the lungs, making breathing difficult. The airways become overly responsive to environmental changes, sometimes resulting in wheezing, coughing, breathlessness, or tightness in the chest........................

  • There are different kinds of asthma (you can research through the net). Mine is bronchial asthma, I'm also allergic and most of the time, allergies are the reason and it can trigger an asthma attack. It is when you are having difficulty in breathing, chest pain, wheezing, etc. .

It's a condition that whenever he gets tired he's having asthma episode. Try this: run through an oval for about 2-4mins then when you're done. Sit and breathe through a straw. . Then you will know how it feels to have asthma.

  • Asthma is an immune sytem response (or infact an exagerated response) to airborne particles (called allergens) such as dust mites or pollen. The immune systems response produces chemicals in the body called hystamines. It's the hystamines that cause the symptoms of asthma such as shortness of breath.See this asthma and allergy guide for more info.
