  • Are you allergic to any thing? I have chest tightness also, but only when I don't take my allergy meds on time. I have allergic asthma, maybe you started to develop an allergy? I think it would be best to talk to your doctor about it, if you haven't already. Hope you feel better.

  • I am taking prednisone. Actually 80 Mg per day for focal slerosis. It does cause the hot flashes, as well as thrush, which is your hoarsness and loss of voice. At first I thought the hoarsness was due to acid reflux, which is another side effect of prednisone, (the list of side effects is endless), but just discovered it is thrush. I am about to try Propolis which I found on the web as a possible solution that is inexpensive and can be purchased at any health food store from what I understand. I will let you know (as I am a singer and this is hurting my career now).Take care.

  • Hey guys. I was doing some googling due to some different side effects I've had while on Biaxin and Prednisone. I have bacterial pneumonia and I've been four days on the medication, two of which I experienced insomnia, mania, abdominal pain and diarhea (which I am considering severe, however 'sever' seems to mean watery and yellow - the flu type!)Anyway, I found a website describing Biaxin for me, but noticed it had a sidebar with a lot of different summaries of different illnesses and conditions in it.And I found this page:http://www.medical-look.com/Skin_diseases/Blastomycosis.htmlIts some sort of lung infection that mimics pneumonia.. so if thats what you guys have been prescribed medication for, which is currently unsuccessful, it might be worth a look over!Hope it helps someone :)Get well soon, you guys!

Try to avoid allergic things like polluted ares and keep your diet healthy. I have also found this http://www.pharmaexpressrx.com/blog/category/general-health for health disorders. I hope it will help you too. Best of luck friend.
