I was diagnosed with arthritis in 2008.In 2010 I had my first knee surgery. My last surgery to my knee on 17 Apr was the fifth one.I saw my consultant week ago and he says everything is OK.I had 3 procedures done:arthroscopy with transpatella drilling, open large lengthening lateral release and removal of cystic area in the patella tendon. My knee is still swollen , painful when I put weight on , pain in the whole knee ,pain at the back of my knee shooting down to my calf. My leg is bruised at the back . Can anyone let me know if that is a normal process of healing ?
