I have been diagnosed with "Arthritis" not otherwise specified. I get this swelling "feeling" in my fingers like they are swollen but they aren't most times, I get headaches, and sinus infections constantly, and I am always physically tired.
I have positive ANA results, and come back neg. for lupus, lime, rhumatoid, etc. Diagnosed with Asthma this month, I ended up quiting.:(:D
I just found out that a relative of mine had died of Scleroderma, But I only have dry skin patches, that I can take care of.
My doc is only aware of the pain, and not the constant feeling like I been up for days. Is this somethign I should talk to her about?
And will a pregnancy effect any results?

  • if you have not been evaluated for psoriatic arthritis, you should request an opinion from a dermatologist, especially considering the skin issues you mention. one of the most problematic symptoms of PsA is/can be the malaise, the flu-like tiredness that worsens with over-activity. good luck.

  • Hey I have exactly the same symptoms and have been diagnosed with PsA. You should really ask your doc about it. There is a lot of info on the web about PsA. Try http://adam.about.com/reports/Psoriasis.htmGood luck!
