Had a heart valve replaced last year, now have a mechanical valve, had complications, they cut a artery in my neck during the operation, let too much blood drain, as in intensve care for 8 weeks, one year later I am stll down 40 pounds in weight and lack strength. The other day I was in bed and reached to the floor with a somewhat awkward movement and got a pain in my chest, felt sort of like a tearing pain, the pain improved over the last several days but is still there. Question is if their is a problem with the suregery is it a chest muscle? I was told that your inner organs like the heart do not produce pain is that correct??? Thanks
