My husband discovered a lump under his arm let's say six - eight mos. ago. A surgeon at (Kaiser) took a biopsy and said it was benign and they wanted to take it out, so they could get a better look. Well, not even a mos. went by and it has grown back even bigger (about the size of tennis ball) and it is hurting him. Well, our Kaiser insurance got dropped and he went to V.A. They took an outpatient biopsy and said "taking it out is not the answer". They want to use drugs to decrease the size. I'm afraid they might put him on prednisone and I've heard that's not good for your body (besides he is on other medication for depression and PTSD)Well, it hurts him and we would like to know what IT IS and WHY IT KEEPS GROWING BACK BIGGER.
