I had severe hand and elbow pain in right arm The Doctor put my in hand brace, cortizone shots and physical therapy. He said I had Tendenitis, golfers elbow, and tennis elbow. I went to therephy 8 weeks and was better. Now 3 months later, both arms are in constant pain and my right butt cheek is hurting. The butt hurts so bad sometimes, I can not sit. The arms get weak to where I can not lift anything without screaming in pain. I take synthroid for hyperthyroidism. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • i have chronic tendinitis and have had for 4 years and the only thing that helps me is heat and stretching, just try to avoid anything that will flair it up thats what i do. I also did bouts of pt but didn't work i do the excersices at home it helps to stretch and wear arm braces. Hope that helps a little

  • hi, i thought id reply as ive been googling for hours now and was amazed at finding someone with the exact same symptoms as me! i was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) for my arm pain instead of tendinitis, and the difference with this diagnosis is that it can spread to other areas such as the leg, **m, anywhere. i have yet to go to my gp and get this confirmed but i developed severe pain in my buttocks last night and i couldnt sleep, it has continued today and is getting worse. i am finding it hard to even concentrate writing this. it may well be that your tendonitis is a correct diagnosis, but i just thought id bring this to your attention because it sounds so similar! of course it could be due to a number of causes, but you can easily rule them out. the pain i feel in my buttocks is deffinately not brusing or a strained muscle, which is what youd first think of. it feels like its inside the bone itself and feels like a gnawing sharp twisting pain that never stops but is wave like. my arm pain was persistent and burning and worsened with movement. i had slight discoloration (blue/purple) when it was really bad and it is sometimes slightly clammy. thats the symptoms of CRPS. whatever it is i hope you get well soon, all the best, kim
