I was injured on November 11, 2006 when I fell off my work truck and fell full force on a piece of metal hanging off my trailer and hooked and tore my arm requiring 31 stitches. 12 inside and 19 outside. Anyway, I have lots of weakness in my arm and sharp pains in my elbow. I went for a nerve study today and the doctor said there was no significant nerve damage. Does that mean I shouldn't have any pain? I am not sure what a nerve study does. Surely I can still have lots of pain without nerve damage? I know this sounds stupid but what does all of this mean? All I know my arm is still hurting 2 months later and I cannot feel the area under my scar about 3 inches down and 3 inches across. Please give me your opinions.
