I am 52 years old. I thought what was going on was anxiety, but unsure now. I have an issue at home that causes major stress in me. My daughter has had alot of drug related issues for years. Her bad choices have caused a mountain of stress. Im hoping this is why Im having the symptoms that I am. The majority of symptoms only occur when I am dealing with her. Normally, I am a very calm, patient person. But when under stress, I get very angry and want to blow up. My head feels like its going to explode and I have tons of negative feelings. I love her and dont want to feel this way around her, and try very hard to corall these feelings. I go for long drives, exercise, do anything to relieve the stress. Sometimes the urge to scream and yell are overwhelming and I cant control those feelings. I dont know if this is simply me being in a stressful situation or if i cant cope well. I havent talked with my physician about this and unsure if i should see him or a psychiatrist.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
