Ambulence Fines

I am 15 years old and I suffer from Panic disorder. The first time I had gotten a serious Panic Attack, I was scolded by my father because he had to pay a “Fine” for the ambulance. The hospital said it wasn’t necessary to call them, even though I was home alone with my brother and Sister, and my younger sister didn’t know how to handle the situation. So they charged him with a fine. Was it really “Unnecessary” (as the hospital said) to call for help? Should we be fined

  • no, it wasn't unneccessary--but what really has to be weighed by your father is what costs more-the lawyer to prove to the hospital that its wrong or the fine itself.
