I have a 92 year old grandmother who was diagnosed with ulcerated anal tumors. The doctor was pretty sure it was cancer and did a biopsy. She is in so much pain that she wants to die. Every time she expels gas or has a bowel movement she can't take the pain. Well the test show they were not cancerous and prescribed a cream that does nothing and gave her some Vicodine. If it was cancer...then they would have gave her radiation to help the pain. The Vicodine doesn't even come close to making her feel better. She has never taken a medication up until now. She has been extremely healthy and strong. I bet she is in better shape than much younger people, but....because she is 92 the doctor will do nothing. I feel it is not humane to let someone suffer like she is. Is there anyone out there who may have a suggestion???

  • After years of trouble (and hospitals) I'm fairly sure that my anal upsets came from food substances that should not have been there. Meat for example moves through the system faster, taking other undigested stuff with it, or lagging behind too long. My cure was drinking lots of water and eating mostly butternut and potato, with no more milk or meat etc. Please refer to what I just wrote at http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?p=82446#post82446Also lots of vitamin-C and Omega-3 as one should try to cure the ulcers. And while it is gross, defecating under warm water may help for the pain. A traditional Chinese doctor has been remarkably successful with my 80-year old mom, healing a hernia that her Western doctor wanted to operate on, totally fixing her high blood pressure and irregular heartbeat etc. She could hardly walk and now does 5 km per hour. I recommend them for a cure.
