I have noticed for a couple years that I have some swelling around my anus right after a bowel movement - pretty much all the way around it. Not sure why I looked in a mirror for the first time....I guess it just kind of felt funny - no pain just felt a little swelled. I've checked a few times since then and I still notice it. It literally goes away within 2 minutes of the BM. Is this normal? I mentioned it to my OB/GYN either at my appt one year ago or maybe it was even 2 years ago. She said it was possibly an internal hemorroid so she did a quick rectal exam and said it wasn't that. She didn't seem concerned. I don't have any pain. It doesn't itch.... ??? I am a worrier by nature so now I'm wondering if I should actually see another doctor or just not worry about it.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
