Hi am am a 19yo male who has had rectal pain for 3.5 months now. It was originally genital-tailbone pain, especially when sitting and the pain in the thigh-tailbone area still occurs when sitting and a bit of (urinary) stress incontinence. I do have a history of IBS. However I have rectal discomfort now frequently when standing up, it just feels like something is there, I frequently get spasms in it especially before I go to sleep, and sometimes just when the anal area is stretched or touched a little. Symptoms actually ease a little when sitting on it. Also I often can't hold my BMs as long as I used to anymore.. and if I do it feels like its slipping out and it really scares me. The urge often comes on suddenly which I didnt have that commonly with IBS before. So far there has been no mucus, blood or fecal incontinence.. it is not painful during BM's but it is often sensative after one. I do have a history of straining.. I don't know what it is.. worried it could be signs of prolapse (but I'm young and its uncommon in males).. could be pelvic floor dysfunction.. pudendal neuralgia.. I dont know!! I have had a rectal examination and nothing found etc its weird and its controlling my life. Any help would be appreciated thx!
