I have posted before regarding this problem, but did not receive any feedback.
Since then I have been back to the doctors about 4 times, I have been on 2 courses of antibiotics without success.
The doctor has now referred me to a specialist, and I am waiting for the appointment.
As I said in my last post I am wondering if packing could have been left in the wound from my initial operation, as the packing was being chaged for weeks by different nurses (sometimes I went to the surgery and on the weekends the nurse came to my house). Towards the end stages of the packing the opening of the wound was closing, making it difficult for the nurses to carry out the procedure.
My GP says that packing wouldn't have been left in place.
Could anybody please give me some feedback as it's really playing on my mind.
