Hi I have been suffering from constant anal pain for a couple of months now, it is just a constant dull pain, felt in the rectum, it is really annoying and can be quite uncomfortable at times. At first i thought it was an internall haemorriod, so i applied some Xyloproct ointment to it, it did ease the pain somewhat, yet the underlying pain was still there, i then applied some nitroglycerin ointment, thinking it might be a fissure, but then i started feeling itchy, which i then thought was definatley a pile, which just woldn;t shift. I have started applying xyloproct again, however the underlying pain is still there.

Anyone any idea what ti may be? The pain doesn't increase/decrease after i make bowel movement, and there is no sign of any blood?
