Hi, I'm recently experiencing mild pain in the surface of my anus. The pain is most noticiable in the middle of the night, which makes me wake up because I can feel pain( mild pain). I usually feel the feeling in the day, but not as much in the night. I don't participate in anal sex, so I was wondering if this feeling is something to be worried about or not. Once in a while my stools are a mixed colour of brown and paleish, what could this mean?
Any advice or help would be great! Thanks

  • Exterior yeast infections can cause this as well as the possiblility of pin worms. A lab could check a stool sample to rule out the latter.
