Im new to this forum and I am just trying to get some information on my problem. 2 months ago I went for an STD check and every test came back negative, but my doctor gave me antibiotics for chlamydia and gonorrhea just to be safe while i waited for the results. (she said because it was so prevalent in this are) During the time after I took the medication I developed diarhea and hard stools going back and forth. Soon after I developed to lumps on my anus one at twelve o clock and the other larger at 6 o clock. when I first got them it was very painful but now one has healed but the one at 6 is still there. It is itchy at times and painful at others. If i touch it it shrinks in size as if it was swollen and looks like a flabby piece of skin. but it does reform as if it fills back up and I just worry all the time about what it is. I explained this to my doctor and she said give it time and see what happens that was a month ago and I am just worried it is something more serious.

if anyone can help I would really appreciate it

  • I dont know if this helps, but i had an examination a few months ago for continuous pain in the rectum and the doc said i had a small skin tail at the front of my back passage. I thought it was some kind of awful haemorroidal thing but he said that (for me) was nothing too serious and to just try taking it easy on the toilet paper, more fibre, fruit etc.You should check it with your GP just to put your mind at ease though!

  • You should take it very seriously and insist on further tests. I would not just wait and see what happens. Do not let anyone operate on you to remove it, at least not without a biopsy or several other tests first, and if it is cancer never let a surgeon touch you without first going to an oncologist for your care. I have anal cancer but it was misdiagnosed as a simple skin tag or wart, and because it was supposed to be the most routine and simple of operations to remove it as such, cancer surgery protocol was not followed...and unfortunately, it was ASC (anal cancer). It's very treatable, even curable, if found early. Do not allow any doctor to watch and wait, as it could be playing with your life. Not saying this to scare you but to inform you so you may become proactive in your your health care. Good luck to you.
