I'm 18 years old and I've had migraines for the past 3 years, but they come and go and are generally not to bad. For the last week though, i've been getting them awful, usually in my eyes or temples, and it gets so bad I just have to sleep it off, or wait them out. I also have had a stuffy nose and a bit of a cough and just figured it was a cold, but this morning I woke up and had red marks under my eyes like someone punched me. They're swollen and tender to touch. As a child I had dust allergies, but I seem to have outgrown them, I have a clue this could be an allergy, but to what I don't know. I have eczema and only use a certain kind of laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. And I haven't ate anything different. Could it be seasonal allergies if I've never had them before?
Thanks for your help.
Jessica.

  • Bulging eyes can be sign of thyroid disorder - a lot of other symptoms too fall under hypothyroid or hashimotos. I would see a dermatologist, and an allergist. It may just be allergies. Perhaps you can try Zyrtec - less of it goes to the brain so it does NOT make you as tired as say, Benadryl does. :p Severe migraine like headaches can really be sinus headaches - an ENT can order or even a PCP a CT of your sinuses.
