i have been getting allergy shots for 8 months now and am 4 treatments away from the maintenence dose which will be every 3 weeks. get two injections in each arm and i am fairly active(weight training). over the last 2-3 months have been experiencing joint pain particularly in my elbows. thought i was just overtraining my arms. just googled allergy shot elbow pain and here i am. my injection two days ago made me come to the conclusion that my elbow pain is from the shots because i have not weight trained in weeks due to this pain. my elbow pain subsided greatly until my last injection. i will discuss this with my doctor on my next visit. gives me great relief that i know where my elbow pain is coming from but at the same time upsets me because my allergy symptoms have improved so much since starting the treatment. i am hoping that once i reach the maintenence dose that it will no longer aggravate my elbows because the shots wont be as frequent. these shots work great for me as far as relieving my symptoms which are severe year around due to my various allergies. however, my elbow pain is becoming too much and if it does not subside i will be forced to stop the allergy shots.

I was having left shoulder muscle and joint pain. It occured to me that it could be the mold so I switched arms 3 months ago. Now my right shoulder hurts. I also have pain in my right elbow and left hip and the tops of my feet in the joints hurt. It's hard to work out when I have so much pain. I'm going to stop getting the mold shots to see if it helps. I have one year left of the shots. Hopefully the pollin shots won't cause me any problems. On the plus side, my imune system has been supercharged. A virus lasts only 3 days now as opposed to 3 weeks, asthma, going into bronchitis. I just hope the muscle and joint pain aren't permanent.
