I have been having itchy face since last many years..first I thought ,its just my skin(sensitive) but I now feel that maybe I am allergic to some food..Because my face itches only on particular days..Maybe it is the tomatoes?
My face becomes dry & itchy followed by red swollen bumps on it..Normally it goes away in a day by using medicated baby powder..

I am still not sure that it is because of food..
Any help will be appreciated.Thanks

  • I have had the same problem on and off agin for 4 months or so. I have tried new makeup, different foods. I am not sure what it is. It sounds like either, ezcema, dermatits, or rocasea????? I am told not to use soap, or lotion, and my face is soooooo dry. I am finally going to go to a dermatologist because it is embarrasing. It happens more when I am stressed at work. What to do?Maybe baby powder.

  • I've had this problem for a few weeks now and the only options that have helped are to wash in cold water to calm my skin down. Or better yet, use ice on your skin at night. Also, what's helped during the day is the Clear Complexion Tonic from boscia (got it from Sephora) and my Jane Iredale mineral makeup (expensive but works for me). My skin is dry too, so I use face lotion that doesn't trap heat into my skin. Surprisingly, my skin itches much less when I have my makeup on - strange! Hope this helps...
