I have had large angry red patches of skin irritation on my ankles, shins, knees and thighs for about two weeks. I discontinued a new lotion I had been using but this did nothing. The itching was very painful and things were getting worse so I saw a doctor who said I have hives and gave me several prescription antihistamines. I am going to start by eliminating cosmetic products one by one--lotions, sunscreens, deodorants, etc.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who had a severe allergic reaction or contact dermatitis on their legs from any cosmetic products, or also from any detergents, foods, medications, clothing, etc.
Thanks in advance for any help.
